Grandmother renounced citizenship before mother was born, do we qualify?

My grandmother, born in 1942, renounced her Italian citizenship prior to the birth on my mother in 1967. Per the minor issue I understood this to mean my mother and I were disqualified from citizenship, but now that the minor issue has been amended I'm not sure where this leaves us.
