Hi everyone, solo dev of [Loot Loop](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3972320/Loot_Loop) here.

82,000 people have played the game so far. I didn't expect that at all, and it means I could quit the job I had just started and go back to working on Loot Loop full time.

A lot of this game came from this subreddit.

The last patch happened because u/Zek23 pointed out the skill tree was hard to read for colorblind players, a few others chimed in, and the reworked tree ended up better for everyone. So, thanks.

Patch 1.1, out today:

* Install size cut in half, 564 MB down to \~280 MB
* Extra levels on the mage's attack upgrade, so you can grind for more damage if the final boss is giving you trouble
* Boss coins no longer fly off-screen where you can't grab them
* Runs no longer count as wins if your party dies
* A bunch of smaller fixes

What's next:

* **Patch 1.2, the healer rework.** The thing I hear about most, and you're right about it. The auras don't give you enough control and the final boss can turn into a coin flip. Aiming for September
* **Patch 1.3**, controller support and Steam Deck Verified
* **Patch 1.4, the big one.** Two new maps and extra prestige layers

If something annoyed you, or there's a feature you want in one of those, tell me. I read everything, and as the skill tree shows, it does end up in the game.

AI disclosure: no AI-generated content in the game. Art is hand-made pixel art, music is by [Cristiano Leone - OST](https://itch.io/profile/cristiano-leone-ost), and everything is built in Unreal blueprints by me.

Loot Loop – Patch 1.1 is live, and I get to work on this full time now
