I won't die for my love

Every lover has made this promise

But not me

I can't promise you I'll die for you

Not because I cant

Everyone who loves, can offer their lives

So it's not because I can't die for you

Its because I want to LIVE for you

I want to live for you

Through every hardship

Every bad day

Every thought of insignificance

Every urge to reach an end

I want to live

Fight to survive

So I can be there when you need me

To be the shoulder you can cry on

To be the one to share your joy with

To hold your hands when you reach new heights

And hug you tight when you fall

To be with you through every moment

Moments of joy, sorrow, memories and lessons

For this I want to survive

Through every threat life may serve

Through every pit of darkness unending

I want to have courage and will to survive

And live even when death feels like a reward

So I could give you love as my FINAL breath

But rather I'd love you with EVERY breath

(First poem I wrote in more of a freeform with no structure or pattern, would love to get some feedback)
