What is the scariest storm you've ever experienced? 🌊 Today on Bible with Berney, we're exploring Oswald Chambers' powerful devotional “The Theology of Rest” and the storm recorded in Matthew 8:23–27.

The disciples were following Jesus when the storm came. Jesus was asleep while the waves crashed around them, and they became terrified. But Jesus asked, “Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?” What was He teaching them about fear, confidence, faith, and rest?

This devotional challenges us to understand that Christian maturity isn't simply learning to pray when we're afraid. It's learning to develop an understanding confidence in God—even when circumstances reach our breaking point.

We'll explore what the storm reveals about faith, what “rest in God” really means, and how Scripture can help us face fear, anxiety, heartache, uncertainty, and the crises of everyday life.

I believe attentive listening to God's Word can produce breakthroughs of faith. Don't simply take my word for it—test it. Open your Bible, listen, pray, reflect, and put God's Word into practice.

Let's make a social-media revival happen by putting the Word of God back into the feed. Like this video, share it with someone facing a storm, and don't be afraid to tell somebody about Berney—but most importantly, tell somebody about Jesus.

I love you. God bless you. 🙏
