Benchmarking expectations for an Associate Oracle Fusion Financial Consultant (First 3 months on a live project) / Dealing with team friction

Background & Context
I’m a 22-year-old Associate Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant. I graduated in mid-2025 with top academic honors, completed a 3-month intensive Oracle Fusion Financials training program, and was hired in March 2026. After a 3-month onboarding/assessment period, I was hired permanently and assigned as support to a large, complex implementation project in June.

This is my first job, and I have been on this live project for about two and a half months (less than a year total of hands-on exposure to Oracle Fusion instances). My manager is remarkably supportive, understands the learning curve, and has explicitly validated my progress and analytical skills.
However, I am experiencing significant friction with older, more experienced colleagues on the project team, which has caused me to severely second-guess my capabilities.

The Situation & Team Dynamics
As the youngest and newest consultant on the team, I am constantly facing condescension and unrealistic expectations from senior peers:

* Dismissive Communication & Micro-Gaslighting:
Whenever I report findings or confirm client requirements, the default reaction from peers is, "You must have misheard," or "You understood that wrong."

* Unrealistic Timelines & Interrupted Workflow: Senior consultants regularly drop tasks on me minutes before client meetings without context. For example, 10 minutes prior to a client presentation, a senior asked me to test an auto-reconciliation cycle with specific payment parameters. While setting that up, another senior dropped an approval journal sheet test on me, claiming it was a "2-minute task," completely disregarding that I was already executing the prior assignment and that I don't have 5+ years of system muscle memory yet.

* Double Standards & Boundaries:
Despite working 48+ hours a week, seniors criticize me for not studying additional complex modules (e.g., Expense, Intercompany, Budget) during my weekends. Meanwhile, older team members with prior domain experience are given grace and granted rest, while my relative youth is cited as a reason I should spend every off-hour grinding.

What I Have Delivered So Far (Month 3 of Project Work)
To keep myself grounded, I list what I’ve actually accomplished in these first 10 weeks:

* Drafted and finalized 2 functional specifications (MD50s) handed off to the technical team (covering BU adjustments, opening balances, and custom reporting layouts).

* Configured and tested approval workflow hierarchies and BPEL/BPM rules (including journal approvals and expense routing).
Handled client requirement gathering and raised/managed SRs with Oracle Support to resolve system errors.

My Questions for the Community

  1. What is the realistic benchmark for an Associate/Entry-Level Oracle Functional Consultant in their first 3–6 months on a live project? Am I falling behind, or are these expectations out of alignment for someone with under 12 months of total system experience?

  2. How do you navigate senior team members who diminish your input or throw last-minute tasks at you? Given that my manager is supportive, what is the best professional way to set boundaries on task switching and unreasonable weekend expectations without appearing uncooperative?

I appreciate any honest feedback, benchmarks, or advice from experienced consultants and leads in the ecosystem.
