Title changes and salary changes in experience letters

Express Entry

Hi all,

I recently received an ITA through the CEC stream and am currently working on obtaining experience letters from my foreign ex-employers and my current Canadian employer for my PR application.

There are two title changes and salary increases in two of my jobs:

Foreign job: My title changed from Front-End Engineer to Senior Engineer, along with a salary increase. However, my job duties remained the same.

Canadian job: My title changed from Sr. Front-End Developer to Senior Software Developer as part of an organizational restructuring. Despite the different titles, my job duties remained the same. I also received a salary increase following my year-end performance review, but this was unrelated to the title change.

I'm wondering how these changes should be presented in the employment/reference letters. Should the title changes and salary increases be explicitly listed?

From what I understand, IRCC mainly verifies that the actual job duties align with the NOC requirements and that the claimed employment duration was paid. However, since IRCC also requests pay stubs, I'm wondering whether they may verify the actual salary amounts as well.

Would it be better to include the title changes and salary history in the letters to make the employment records consistent with the supporting documents, or would it be sufficient to state my current/final title and salary?

Any information or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
