On my semi-established channel most new videos get no impressions until I reupload them with a different thumbnail, even though CTR is the same.

Long-Form Content

Yeah so my channel has 3k subs and most videos perform relatively the same way. I upload it, it gets shit impressions, then it dies. Then I barely change the thumbnail or title and the same file now gets good impressions from the get. Sometimes I change nothing but YouTube still kills the video.

I also have another channel where the same video gets way better views and CTR with the same thumbnail and title. But there it seems like YouTube picked too narrow of a niche for me so now a video outside that is limited in impressions.

I am not here to wine but get some opinions. Why do you think this might be happening?

I initially thought that it depends on my posting time, but no. Regardless of when I post the same shit happens. Which kinda turns every upload into a gamble. You would think that on a channel with 3k subs that's been active for over three years, the audience is already settled and decided on. But it seems like it either shows it to totally different people...

On the second channel I reuploaded the video that got 40k views on the first channel, but here it tanked instantly. Even though all other videos on the channel are the same and have similar or better view numbers and overall healthier statistics.

Dunno, maybe you've noticed something like that with your videos? Thanks a lot.
