Is there anything different between the dynamics of Ishtar and Freya with Mitsuari Ayu and Shokuhou Misaki from A Certain Magical Index?

Because both dynamics involve:

Two characters with highly similar (or near-identical in principle) mind-affecting powers.

One being positioned as the “superior/chosen” version while the other is left as a lesser alternative or rival.

Strong resentment from the “lesser” one, tied to status, opportunity, and a connection to the male protagonist (Bell for Freya/Ishtar; Touma for Misaki/Ayu).

The lesser one attempting to claim or undermine something precious to the superior one that involves the protagonist.

So I'm curious if anyone can think of anything that tells both dynamics apart
