Access to new Anthropic and GPT models is restricted

I am having problem getting access to Anthropic models newer than opus 4.8 in the bedrock_runtime and bedrock_mantle with this error:

AccessDeniedException
anthropic.claude-opus-4-8 is not available for this account. You can explore other available models on Amazon Bedrock. For additional access options, contact AWS Sales at https://aws.amazon.com/contact-us/sales-support/

it is the same for gpt 5.6 models.

I have also created a case 4 days ago but it is in unassigned status! This is just ridiculous. I have seen lots of similar cases here in reddit and nothing seems to change
