Administrative Silence - HQP/UGE

Hello everyone!

My employer applied for my highly qualified professional residence permit with the UGE, and we are approaching the 20-business-day mark without a response. The company's lawyer is going to request the administrative silence certificate shortly thereafter.

Has anyone who requested the administrative silence certificate at this time of year know how long it takes to be issued?

Is there a possibility that they could deny the application even after the request for administrative silence is made?
