How do you reduce noise from an outdoor AC unit?

My neighbor recently complained about my AC outdoor unit, and I’m trying to figure out the best solution. My house has an older split AC system with a large outdoor compressor. It makes a noticeable humming noise when running, especially at night. The unit also faces my neighbor’s balcony, and the drainage has caused some issues with our shared wall.I understand why it bothers them, but moving or replacing the entire system is not a simple project.

I’ve also been comparing alternative AC setups, including some portable and all in one units from Costway, but I’m not sure if switching to a different type of system would actually solve the noise issue.Has anyone dealt with a noisy outdoor unit? Did you relocate it, replace the system, or find another solution?
