[M4F] Forbidden Romance. Longterm Fantasy RP. Info in body.

Hey Hey! I’m looking for a female partner for a long term fantasy romance RP centered around a princess and her personal guard. The setting would be a classic fantasy world with kingdoms, castles, nobles, knights, guards, villages, forests, magic, monsters and all the other fun fantasy stuff.

We can build the world together and decide how much magic and fantasy we want involved.

My character would be one of the princess’s guards. He’s loyal, capable and trusted to protect her, but somewhere along the way their relationship becomes much more than it was supposed to be.

Your character would be a princess whose family has already arranged her marriage to a prince from another kingdom. The marriage is meant to strengthen the relationship between their families and kingdoms, so refusing isn’t really an option in her family’s eyes.

The problem is that she’s already fallen in love with her guard. At first, neither of them really knows what to do about it. They both understand how dangerous it would be if anyone found out, so they have to keep their relationship hidden.

They might sneak away from the castle when they can, meet in quiet hallways late at night, find excuses to spend time together, exchange little gifts or notes and steal whatever moments they can get without attracting suspicion.

Of course, keeping something like that secret forever probably isn’t going to work. Eventually, we could have the situation become too much for them. Maybe the arranged marriage gets closer, someone starts becoming suspicious, or something happens that makes them realize they don’t want to spend the rest of their lives pretending.

That’s when they could make the decision to leave everything behind. They’d run away from the kingdom together and disappear into the wider world, leaving behind the palace, her family, the arranged marriage and the life that had already been planned for her.

From there, the story could become something much bigger than just forbidden romance. They’d have to figure out how to survive on their own, find somewhere to settle down, make a life away from the nobility and eventually decide what kind of future they actually want.

Maybe they find a quiet village where nobody knows who she is. Maybe they buy a small home somewhere far from the kingdoms. Maybe they take on normal jobs and slowly build a life together.

And if we’re both enjoying the RP and want to take the story that far, we could eventually have them get married, start a family and experience what their life looks like years after they left everything behind.
I don’t want all of that planned from the beginning, though. I’d rather let their relationship and story develop naturally.

Your Character
Your princess is completely yours to create.
Her name, appearance, personality, age, interests, abilities, relationship with her family, how she feels about the arranged marriage and everything else is up to you.

She doesn’t have to be the stereotypical perfect princess either. She could be kind and gentle, rebellious, spoiled but well meaning, adventurous, sarcastic, shy, confident or anything else you think would be fun.

I’d also love to hear any ideas you have for her family, the kingdom, the arranged marriage and how you imagine her relationship with my character developing.

The Story
I’d like there to be plenty of romance, but also adventure, drama, comedy and fantasy elements.
Before they run away, we can focus more on the secret relationship and the danger of being discovered.

After they leave, the story can open up considerably. We can explore new towns and kingdoms, meet strangers, encounter monsters, make friends, deal with people from their past and slowly build their new life together.

We can also play multiple characters when needed, including family members, other guards, nobles, villagers, friends, enemies and anyone else who becomes important.

I don’t want every arc planned beforehand. I’d rather we have the basic premise and then come up with new events, characters and story arcs together as we go.

I do have a life outside of RP, so there may be days where I’m busy or just not feeling up to writing. I’d appreciate someone who’s understanding of that.
