When was the last time you played a casual card game with zero meta stakes, just for the laughs?
With all the hyper-competitive ladders, meta tier lists, and sweaty local tournaments out there, it's so easy to forget why we started playing card games in the first place.
A couple of weeks ago, an old friend and I grabbed some random draft chaff we had sitting in a box for years and just threw together terrible kitchen-table decks. The first few turns were absolute chaos, but we were laughing our heads off at ridiculous interactions you'd never see in a real meta.
Do you guys still make room for casual, janky card games, or does the competitive side take over everything?
