first cycle ttc

Hi everyone! I’m currently 8 DPO and I swear the symptom spotting is starting to make me lose my mind lol. 😭 I’m actively trying to conceive, so of course I’m analyzing EVERYTHING my body is doing right now. On 6 DPO, I noticed very light pink spotting whenever I would wipe. By 7 DPO, it had changed into more of a brown discharge, and today at 8 DPO it seems darker red and I’ve also been having quite a bit of cramping in my lower stomach. I’m wearing a liner, but most of what I’m noticing is when I wipe.
My period isn’t expected for another 6 days, so I’m definitely confused about what could be going on. I know implantation bleeding can happen around this time, but I also know everyone’s body is different and spotting can happen for several reasons. Could this still potentially be implantation bleeding, especially with the timing, or does the darker red spotting and cramping sound more like AF deciding to show up early? 😭 Has anyone experienced something similar around 6–8 DPO and ended up getting a positive? I’m trying SO hard not to symptom spot myself into oblivion, but the timing has me wondering! 🥹🤞🏽✨
