Relationships during mbbs & pg prep seem like nightmares

I see so many horror stories of couples breaking up during final year, internship or drop year for pg prep and becoming totally lost & unfocused in the wake of the & mental emotional armageddon that follows those (often) messy breakups and just ending up ruining their prep or exam on the D Day.

I got into an LDR Situationship for 4 months in 3rd year and it wrecked my sleep & pg prep. I planned to complete ent, ophthal & peds from pg pov by 3rd yr prefinals but ended up with just psm & fmt finished.

Atp even if a 10/10 girl came up to me in person, kissed me and told me she loved me and wanted to get in a relationship, I would still rather go kms instead of risking another (potential) disruption to my studies 💔🥀. I still have PTSD from that situationship 🥀.
