Looking for games made by people whose mental state/ideology is genuinely reflected in the game

This might be a weirdly specific request, but I'm looking for games where the creator's own mental state, psychological problems, or extreme worldview can somehow be felt through the game itself.

I'm generally not that interested in paintings or drawings, but I've always found the work of artists with severe psychological problems much more fascinating. Not necessarily because the art is better, but because you can sometimes see traces of the person's mind in what they created.

I've also always been fascinated by people with extremely abnormal or disturbing worldviews who had an online presence before doing something horrific. For example, I once followed a YouTube channel run by a woman with bizarre beliefs about veganism. She later carried out a shooting at Youtube's headquarters, killed three people, and died by suicide. There are also cases of school shooters who had YouTube channels, uploaded videos, or documented their thoughts online before their attacks. For some reason, seeing someone's worldview develop through that material has always fascinated me.

But strangely enough, I can't remember ever having that experience with a video game.

I'm looking for something like that. It doesn't have to be famous or particularly good. I'd actually prefer obscure or amateur games. I want something where, after learning about the creator, you can look at the game and think, "Holy shit, you can actually see where this person was coming from."

It could be someone with schizophrenia or another serious psychological condition, someone with an extremely bizarre worldview, someone obsessed with a radical ideology, or simply someone whose personal beliefs and mental state are unusually apparent in their work.

I'm not specifically looking for games ABOUT mental illness. I want the creator's own personality, beliefs, or mental state to somehow bleed into the game.
