Brake switch issue?

The car seems to cut throttle off & does regen braking randomly while driving. Pulls the car back & slows down like crazy as if I'm stepping on the brakes & I'll have to release throttle, step throttle again for the power to come back.

It was especially nerve wrecking when it happened on the highway & the car just cuts off all throttle & started slowing down.

Other possible giveaway symptoms are my brake lights still being on even when I pull the handbrake & get down from the car sometimes (this occurred twice so far so not a lot, but still something of note).

Already read up some forum post & facebook group posts, just wanna know if anyone else has this issue to triple confirm that it's the switch needing to be replaced.

The switch is getting harder to come by here so I just wanna be sure before I go on a full hunt for the switch.
