How do you recover financially and mentally when a spec card gets nuked by a surprise reprint?
We've all been there. You feel great about a binder spec or picking up a few copies of a card, and then out of nowhere, an unexpected banlist update or reprint announcement drops and craters the value overnight. In the past, my knee jerk reaction was either to panic-sell at a massive loss or stubbornly hold onto them out of spite both of which usually end terribly. Lately, I've been trying to treat it more like a casual portfolio check: looking at whether the card still has casual appeal or unique mechanics even if competitive play drops off.
How do you handle those sudden market drops without letting frustration dictate your collection?
