Feeding vegetables - storage logistics questions

Hey yall, just started my tank and wondering about the logistics of feeding your inverts vegetables?

I have seen a bunch of people on YouTube doing this, and I know they need to be blanched - but I am wondering about the whole process.

Like do you store the rest in a container and blanch them as-needed? Do you blanch them and then freeze them, and thaw as-needed? Do you just eat the leftovers yourself so it doesn’t go bad?

Like for a cucumber - I know my tank only needs like maybe once slice a week. Do you freeze the rest of the cucumber? Do you blanch it before freezing or do you wait until right before you give it to them? Or do you just eat the rest and buy a new cucumber next week?

Might seem like a silly question but I just don’t want to make them sick, or find out they don’t like frozen-then-thawed cucumber and be stuck with wasted vegetables, but if I need to eat the leftovers myself I’ll need to plan out my meals a bit more lol.
