I (24M) have really been hit with Post visit depression, after 3 weeks with my partner.

I (24M) just came back some days back from visiting my partner (22F). I and she to are really going through post visit depression.

We have been doing LDR for about 3 years now. Started in august 2023 up untill now and to be contenued. I have visited 2 times in her home country (India), both times in july for 2-3 weeks. Sadly she has not been able to visit me but we are still working on that.

We have both been going on with our studies for since starting LDR i finished last summer (2025) she finished this year (2026), and now we are looking at options for closing the distance. She wants to come and live with me in my home country (Denmark) where she has lived before for about 4.5 years before she moved back. Even the research about making it possible can be overwhelming and feel heavy.

I guess i do have a question on the behalf of both of us.

Do you have any advice on how post visit depression? We feel it reallly hard, because we really wanna close it as soon as we can.
