Update: Shop quoted me 1.7k for front strut mounts, am i being overcharged?

Hi! I wanted to make a quick update but a while back I made a post here a while back asking if 1.7k was too much for front strut mounts and you guys told me definitely yes.

So i went to another shop near me, a mom and pop style, and lo and behold, THE STRUT MOUNTS DID NOT NEED REPLACING.

It was a single bolt that was loose on some kind of arm (i’m sure you guys know). Anyway, I paid a total of $150, that’s including the initial inspection.

I just thought you guys would like to know how right you were and to THANK YOU profusely… so… THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
