Free Irish grocery price comparison – BasketWatch

I’ve been building BasketWatch, an Irish grocery price comparison platform covering the major supermarkets.

The free grocery price comparison is now available to everyone:

One of the things that sets BasketWatch apart is the accuracy of the product matching. I’ve managed to reliably match the vast majority of equivalent products across different retailers, rather than relying solely on product names or loose text matching. That means you can compare like-for-like products across supermarkets with a much higher degree of confidence.

For businesses, researchers, journalists or anyone who wants to use the data commercially, access to the underlying datasets and full analytics dashboard is also available for a paid fee.

Would really appreciate any feedback on the free comparison, particularly anything you’d like to see added.
