Game didn’t save

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone else encountered this glitch. I had just finished my first spring festival, made it back to bed at 1:50am (cutting it close, I know) and tried sleeping to progress to the next day. I got to the screen where it shows you how much money you made but there was no option to progress to the next day, so I had to ultimately quit my game and none of the progress saved. And I’ve no mods installed in case that’s relevant.

Wondering if anyone knows of how to avoid this in the future or if it was just a weird one time thing. Thanks!
