My 2 Narc Dads

I married young over 20 years ago. I’m still crazy about my partner. Over time we have pieced together that we both have narc fathers. I think part of the reason it took so long to identify is because we were both used to it.

FF to now and my husband has been laid off in the tech industry. I’ve been at home with our kids for 10 years. This job market is brutal. It’s been incredibly depressing and life changing. This is the time his father decides to double down on his millions and tell us we aren’t trying hard enough. He won’t be helping. He also made my husband feel like shit.

He doesn’t have to help, but I’m a parent, and if I had it, I would. It’s just really gross when coverts finally drop the mask. Anyone else get not one but 2 narc daddies?
