Applying for Spouse visa, need help in attestation & translation services

I have initiated my Irish visa application process today by submitting my online application. Next I need to arrange the supporting documents required as mentioned on the website. I am aware that I need to submit all original documents from my end, however only my marriage certificate (which is a print of the soft copy generated at the registrars office) will require authorization. So my confusion is what sort of attestation is required - our local notary will work or consulate authorization is asked? If consulate authorization, then from where in Pune?
