Mega Mewtu Y Candy Bug?

So last week I was soloing some Mega Blaziken raids with my Mega Mewtu Y and I noticed something and I'm not sure if that is intended or simply a bug, maybe someone here can provide some information.

As I was catching the Blaziken I saw the mega animation for the Blaziken candy, eventhough it's a fire/fight pokemon, whereas my Mewtu should only give more candy for catching psychic pokemon, right? Just to be sure I'm not hallucinating I checked the summery and it showed me the bonus candy and the bonus XL candy I got from Blaziken. Should'nt this be the effect of Mega Mewtu X because of the fighting type?
