What does this mean, I need some clarity
I finally read my CT scan findings today and I saw this:
IMPRESSION:
-
New retroperitoneal lymph node anterior to the IVC measuring 2 x 1.6 cm. Findings are nonspecific and may be reactive. Follow-up CT in 3-6 months is recommended to ensure resolution .
-
Stable mildly prominent mesenteric lymph nodes measuring up to 1 cm in short axis diameter, most prominent in the right lower quadrant.
What does this mean, is my cancer back? Do I need more treatment?
