While she was passionate about animal rights , she was equally passionate in her hatred of just about everything else .
Including but not limited to:
Her son
“In 1996, Brigitte Bardot came out harshly against her only son, Nicolas-Jacques (65), in her book Initiales B.B.: Mémoires, where she confessed that her pregnancy was like "a tumor that had fed on me, that I carried in my swollen flesh, waiting for the blessed moment when I would finally be rid of it. The nightmare reached its climax, I had to accept the object of my misfortune for a lifetime".
“When she divorced Jacques Charrier in 1963, the child remained under her exclusive guardianship. Bardot wanted nothing to do with him. She showed no interest during her adolescence and did not care about what would become of his life. She completely disregarded his studies.”
She and her son later resumed some contact . [More here](https://www.mundoamerica.com/celebrity/2025/12/29/69525bc0fdddff9b0a8b458d.html)

And more :
As an animal rights activist, Bardot devoted herself to the Brigitte Bardot Foundation for the Welfare and Protection of Animals. She fought the Japanese for hunting whales, the Spanish for bullfighting, the Russians for killing seals, furriers, hunters, and circus operators.
In 1999, Bardot, who was born Sept. 28, 1934, in Paris, wrote that “my homeland is invaded by an overpopulation of foreigners, especially Muslims.” Bardot was forced to pay a huge fine for the comments.
She went on to criticize interracial marriages and insult gay men who, in her words, “jiggle their bottoms, put their little fingers in the air, and with their little castrato voices moan about what those ghastly heteros put them through.”
Bardot became notorious for her racist and homophobic comments and her support of France’s far right political movement. Her fourth husband, Bernard d’Ormale, was an aide toJean-Marie Le Pen, founder of the National Front party.
Two French civil rights groups sued Bardot for the xenophobic and homophobic comments she made in her 2003 book “Un Cris dans le Silence” (“A Cry in the Silence”). She disparaged gay and lesbians as “cheap faggots or circus freaks,” immigrants, French schools, and contemporary art. She called Muslims “invaders” and railed against the killing of animals in the name of religion. Source:
