Opinions on atheists

So, I'm a devoted atheist and I really try to keep my opinion to myself, I only start pushing to people who start telling me how I should be a believer and try to put their visions on me.

Yesterday I met a very kind new colleague at work and he's really tolerative to everyone - LGBTQ, different religions and races, so I was wondering, what are your opinions on atheists? Do you outright despise them or just tolerate them if they don't start pushing?
