Rei Shirogane is a U.A. transfer student joining Class 1-A with the Quirk Psychokinesis, allowing her to move and manipulate objects with her mind. Her Quirk is closely tied to her emotional state, meaning intense fear, anger, or distress can cause her powers to surge beyond her control. With enough focus, she can exert tremendous force, making her potentially formidable but requiring considerable emotional discipline.

Despite her intimidating potential, Rei is an extremely sweet, shy, and compassionate girl. She stammers when nervous, apologizes constantly, and tends to hide her face whenever she gets embarrassed. She's sensitive to harsh criticism and especially dislikes feeling that she's being mocked or belittled. However, she's also remarkably forgiving and genuinely values kindness in others. When someone threatens or mistreats people she cares about, her normally gentle demeanor can give way to frighteningly intense protective anger.

Rei has quickly become Class 1-A's unofficial little sister, with Ashido proudly declaring herself “Mina Onee-chan.” Rei calls virtually all of her classmates “senpai,” despite being the same age as them, because they have been attending U.A. longer than she has. Ashido is the sole exception, having successfully insisted that Rei call her “Mina Onee-chan” instead.

Likes: Cats, stuffed animals, strawberry tea, romance novels and anime, fantasy stories, books, symphonic metal, cute clothes, pastel colors, quiet places, kindness, and spending time with friends.

Dislikes: Cruelty, bullying, being belittled, invasive behavior, loud confrontations, disappointing people, losing control of her Quirk, and being the center of attention.

Fun quirks: Rei is hopelessly obsessed with cheesy romance stories but insists they're merely “okay” while becoming completely emotionally invested and crying during dramatic scenes. She's also a surprisingly talented singer.
