Xenidate XL 54mg dry mouth and cheek/tongue chewing solutions/advice

Hi all

I am on Xenidate XL 54mg, after couple of days I started to get dry mouth and developed a sore tongue which then spread to my inner bottom lip and cheeks. As a result I have started to chew both my tongue and cheeks when both asleep and awake causing open sores. I have used Bonjela & Antiseptic mouthwashes and sprays to tackle the sores but now need a solution for the chewing itself.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Custom Mouth Guards to prevent chewing my cheeks/tongue/lips both at day and night? I have tried "SleepRight Ultra Comfort Dental Guard - UK/EU Version" but i find it annoying as the indentations on the sides rub against my cheeks, it also moves around making me feel unsettled.

My GP has told me to consult my dentist, however as I have recently moved I have not been able to find an NHS Dentist locally that are taking on new patients.

I have been looking online but all the product information is very overwhelming.

As I am on disability I have limited finances so my budget cannot exceed £80, as I will need to save the amount needed between replacements.
