they should have given Aras an additional rival besides Teoman

For now, it looks like Doğukan will fill this void, though there are also claims that he is adopted and that Hakan intends to pass him off to Aras as Demir. I am curious to see how the story unfolds, but I feel Aras has been portrayed as too "invincible" so far.

The filler scenes shown over the last four or five episodes could have been used to introduce a new rival character for Aras. We needed to see Aras facing challenges outside of the main plotline. After all, he is a seventeen-year-old; even though he has a mature side, the writers should have put him to the test.

This rival character could have been someone with no ties to Leyla or Teoman—perhaps just an ordinary kid from a regular family whom Aras simply doesn't get along. Alongside his quest to find his brother needs another "thorn in his side" besides Teoman.

To Aras, Teoman is no different from an annoying kid; I believe a character who truly challenges him—forcing him to keep his guard up and stay on his toes—is necessary.
