GameSir G8+ X button not working even in GameSir app. Any fix?

I recently got a GameSir G8+, and the X button is not registering any input.

I've already tried: Testing it in the official GameSir app

Disconnecting and reconnecting the controller

Double-pressing the M button to disable Turbo

Performing the factory/function reset Checking the controller settings

The important part is that the X button isn't detected even in the official GameSir app, while the other buttons and analogue sticks work normally.

The controller is on firmware 2.12 and I'm using it with a OnePlus Pad 2 over Bluetooth

I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced the same issue and able to solve it.
