Sandoz vs. Mylan
Posted last night that I cannot get my .0375 patch (Sandoz twice weekly) but Walgreens called today and a few towns over have some Mylan .0375 twice weekly boxes left.
• Is there any difference btwn them? I tolerate the Sandoz very well. Initially upon taking it I had a sort of estrogen flu I'll call it, kind of hot and extremely fatigued, legs felt heavy, some dizziness/headache for the first two weeks on the estrogen and I really do not want to go thru that again.
But, I went from .025 Divigel to the .0375 patch so it was a jump; and I took a while for me to adjust from full surgical menopause for 19 months to the Divigel also.
I know there's an ingredient in Mylan or something that isn't in Sandoz.
Sorry for all the questions! I didn't know there was a patch shortage!!
I finally got approved by my oncologist to get the patch May 29th. I'd been waiting for years suffering thru surgical meno for it. Right into a shortage!!
