What question do you ask at the end of every tax meeting?
Been thinking about how many good planning opportunities probably get lost during busy season.
I'm a lot, right?
Client mentions they're selling a rental. Starting a business, hiring someone, thinking about retirement, etc
You make a mental note and then move on to the next return.
One question we've been talking about asking before the meeting ends:
"What would you like us to look at more closely after tax season?"
Write down the answer and then deal with it later.
Does that make sense?
Anyone doing something similar?
