should i go to this concert if my friend cancelled and he’s an og fan while im not?

a few days ago my friend asked if i wanted to go to this kpop groups concert that was happening in our country. he has been a long time fan of that group and really wants to go to the concert, while i didn’t know a lot about that group and only knew theit most popular songs. i later looked the group up on tiktok and i really liked their songs and i kind of got attatched to the members. i was already kind of excited to go but my friend just told me he couldn’t go because he has a final on that day. he was devastated and i felt really really bad but i really want to go to this concert now. i havent been to a concert before, my countru doesn’t have a lot of concerts and i feel like i can release a lot of bottled up emotions at this concert. but at the same time my friend is the og friend here. i fear he will resent me for going as a “larper” when he has been an og for so long. what do i do?
