Therapist wants me to do inpatient admission but I can't.

Hi everyone,

So, as the title says, my psychologist wants me to do inpatient work but I'm really not in a position to do so.

I have been suicidal for quite some time and have made a few attempts. I was in a psychiatric hospital over two months ago and had ECT and was put on multiple medications. Since then, I have drastically deteriorated and have suffered from chronic depression, severe sleep deprivation and suicidality.

On a positive note, I have recently started a new job which I thoroughly enjoy and I obviously can't take time off straight away for sick leave. I live by myself and rely on this job to pay rent. I have no one else to support me.

I'm very overwhelmed with it all and don't really know what to do.
