I want to travel to Guwahati and other places further in the north-east in around 15D during december!!

Dates : 7th to 21st december around
Budget : 20k(excluding of travel to guwahati)

I am from Mumbai and want to visit Guwahati-Silchar-Aizawl during december for my winter break.

I am trying to understand what all places to visit at these places as the internet is giving me some random ass temples and that is not the kind of trip i want, i want to meet people, have good food and go to offbeat places like view points and small hikes etc.

I don't have people to do this with so can someone recommend/advice on what kind of stuff i should plan, how i should travel to all these places in a cheap and safe manner.

Also tell me if this is a viable set of places to visit especially as a first timer, if not recommend what places i should cover.

Please advice on what places to stay(feel free to name drop actual homestays and hostels), and any details that you think a young solo traveller should know of while traveling.
