Court summons

Does anyone have any recommendations for any attorneys or advice for a court summons due to speeding. Before you comment, yes, I know I shouldn’t have been speeding but I was called into surgery (I work in the OR) so I was in a rush and well… yeah! Got a paper saying I need to go to court due to speeding. Anyone recommend any attorneys or should I represent myself in court. Really don’t want any points on my license or insurance issues but if it happens it happens. Also, what was the cost for the attorney if you did get one? Thanks
