I started using AI for variance analysis write-ups. Went from 1.5 hours to 10 minutes. Anyone else doing this?

Been experimenting with AI for monthly reporting lately.

The biggest time saver so far has been variance analysis narratives. I used to spend 1.5-2 hours writing these up for management. Now I paste the budget vs actual numbers into Claude or ChatGPT with a simple prompt and get a solid first draft in minutes.

Still review and edit everything before it goes out — but the drafting time is basically gone.

Has anyone else tried this? Curious what tasks others are automating and what's actually working.
