Wearing G6/G7 at the same time?

Going to switch over to the G7 once my current G6 stock is done. I was thinking of putting both on to help make the transition smoother, if that makes sense? I'm think I'll likely screw up putting the G7 on the first time so I'd like to have something that is reading consistently while I learn how to use the G7.

How does the G7 work in terms of apps? Is it a separate app? Can I get readings from both simultaneously?
