What’s on your board and why?

After many years and many pedals, I’ve settled on a board I love. I would love to read about which pedals you ultimately landed on and why, sorted by category. Here are mine:

COMP: Origin effects cali76. I don’t think there is a better guitar compressor in existence. I run this thing with a lot of clean signal blended in. I think of it as my clean tone overdrive pedal, but it’s so good I’m tempted to leave it on at all times. I’m running the older version (pre led meter).

MAIN OD: Blues Driver. My god, how did I not know about this thing for 30 years? The blues driver is the best OD I have ever used. The sound is thick, juicy, raw. You don’t want to turn it off. It’s the only dirt pedal I’ve used where winding back your volume produced other great sounds (not just a shittier version of your volume on 10).

BOOST: Maxon OD808. This is just a really excellent sounding tubescreamer. I use it to take my blues driver into the stratosphere. It’s crazy to me that no one is doing a BD2 + TS dual pedal. They should because it’s a match made in heaven. It turns the blues driver into a high gain fire breather.

FUZZ: Browne T4. I’ve always loved the sound of the big muff, but wanted it thicker and with more mids. The T4 does it. I love this as an alternative to the blues driver. It’s not more drive, it’s a whole other thing. It also rips with the tubescreamer boosting it.

MODULATION: Boss Dimension C. I got this used when I couldn’t find what I actually wanted (the boss waza chorus) but I’ve come to love it. No knobs. You get what you get. Fortunately, what you get is beautiful.

DELAY: Analogman ARDX20. I had this years back and foolishly sold it, then thought about it until I found another one. You get two settings on the main unit, and then using the extension pedal gives you two tempo and modulation. I have found I don’t even need the Amaze as the core wound is just so good and the nature of the delay means you don’t need tap tempo. The sound is just so balanced, so perfectly tuned. You don’t want to change it in any way. They nailed it already. A truly beautiful beautiful analog delay.

REVERB: Strymon Flint. Strymon really nailed it with several of their pedals from this era, and the flint just nails a handful of things really well - 3 types of reverb, and 3 types of tremolo. There are fancier reverbs now which are ostensibly better (UAFX Golden for example) but the flint is, for me, a pedal that does the job well enough I never have to think about it again.

That’s my board, and I’ve never been happier with my sound. What’s in your board right now, and why?
