Alternative Plex client app recommendations

This isn't another complaint post per se but I'm proactively looking for alternatives for some of my remote users who either didn't turn off auto updates on their current apps or will be newly joining my server if any want them (I may or may not move eventually to another server set-up but I have a lifetime Plex pass so, for now, I'm looking for recommendations for common clients, including Bravia, Apple TV, Roku, and Fire TV—I'm okay telling people to abandon these one if there is a better Android option but they are still better than most or all built-ins that I have tested). I know names like Plezy, Kodi, and Infuse but before I start suggesting people potentially pay for alternatives, I guess I'm looking for general feedback on any that people actually suggest (I only allow 1080p remotely and have set everyone up to play direct so transcoding by the server is effectively a non-issue in my day-to-day use).

Do any display all of the same database-specific catalog information of the native Plex app, like collections, playlists, custom posters (not saved with media files but just selected), manual matching/naming, etc.?

Which apps can be downloaded normally from respective app stores vs. side-loading?

Any general likes or dislikes?

Thanks!
