My TEFL Journey

Taking the TEFL course was a rewarding experience that helped me build both my teaching skills and confidence. I learned how to plan effective lessons, manage a classroom setting, create engaging activities, and adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of the students. I also learned that teaching English is not just about knowing the language—it is about making sure students feel comfortable, motivated, and supported while learning.

What surprised me the most was the preparation that goes into a good lesson. I realized that even simple activities require thoughtful planning to make sure students are learning effectively. I also discovered that there are many creative ways to teach grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening.

Passing the course felt exciting and satisfying because all the time, effort, and challenges were all worth it. It gave me a sense of accomplishment and made me feel more prepared and confident to begin my journey as a TEFL teacher. Teacher Record
