(28F) Found my boyfriend's (30M) hidden album, advice please

I (28F) have been dating this guy (30M) for just under a year. Things were going well until...

I've been lurking around for similar posts since my discovery.

Shortly after we started seeing each other, I discovered that he has a problem with coke. I recently suspect that he very much does it on his own as well, so he would go to the pub with work or even at home down at the pub with fam or even over the Christmas period, would do it on his own after a few drinks. Whenever he does it, and when I'm around, family function and whatnot, he'd stay up till like 4-5am and I would normally find him passed out in the sofa the next morning. This is important context because what does one actually do when you stay up late doing coke on your own till 4/5am in the morning?

I know I've breached his trust here because I was going through his phone and there was a hidden album, I clicked into it and saw a collection of photos of little girls and videos of little girls dancing on tiktok, I would say they are all under age 12 maybe idk? I immediately thought oh no he's...into that sort of thing...which is categorically bad... I know I should leave him but we are in such a good spot in the relationship at the moment. There are ups and downs of course but I'm not sure. I was also thinking of looking into it further to see how long this has been going on for...but what does that serve anyway. I'm shaken and confused. I feel like I've just discovered a double life he's been living.

Nonetheless, a few deductions I've come to conclude is that:

- he plans to revisit these photos hence the album

- he has an interest in little girls (bad!)

- these must be his favs and there is a possibility that he consumes more than what is available at the album

- possibly materials for him to consume while he's high on his own, it may not be every time but

Looking at his last relationship as well, he was cheated on by his ex and was not in a good place, and a little bit of a pattern from other posts is the age gap from the last relationship, they were 6.5 years apart he was 28 and she was 22.

Unnecessary details but here if you'd like to read: I just came out of a 5-year long term relationship, my mum passed away at the beginning of the year from a sudden cancer diagnosis (she died young) and I've only recently got back onto good-ish footing with my mental health. Safe to say, it's been a fucking difficult year, if not the hardest chapter in my life and discovering this is just another fking blow on top of everything else. I'm just exhausted man. He'd been very supportive throughout so the idea of being single and having to carry my grief on my own seems terrifying to me. I'm still rebuilding my internal safety. When he's not on the sauce, he's a lovely fun and a super caring guy. We have lots of fun together.

I read somewhere that addiction is essentially another form of pain, so clearly there's some unresolved trauma there. Psychologically, I also don't understand where and how do people develop an interest in kids... My initial reaction also includes "wow there's some fk'd up people in this world really". I'm religious, so have been praying for answers. I remember after my discovery, watching his family members interacting with him as normal without knowledge of this piece of him makes me feel so conflicted and also remember that his mum had no choice but will have to love and support him if this ever comes out, but I have the choice to choose whether this is what I want. Some words of encouragement would be good too. And yeh maybe nobody will support this, certainly not my mama from Heaven, but I'm planning on sticking with it for a bit longer and see how it goes.
