WIBTA If I ask for a refund on a custom commission before it's done?

I had asked to have a commissioned piece done, I guess it could be considered clothing, but the person sent me a picture and it looks nothing like what I asked for, and I'm honestly worried I'm just wasting my money on something I won't like

The seller used materials they already had at home, but I'm assuming fur isn't cheap from what I've seen online, fake fur not real fur.

I want to ask for a refund and go to a different person but I feel a bit guilty about wasting their time and I just wanna know if I would be an asshole if I asked for a refund and canceled my whole order altogether.
