PASSED NAPLEX ON 1st try (8/3 test date)

NAPLEX Exam Results

NAPLEX RESULT: I PASSED!! 🎉

Hi everyone!! Hope you’re all doing well and staying motivated!

I can officially say that I PASSED THE NAPLEX ON MY 1ST TRY!

I tested on 8/3, and I wanted to share what I used to study in case it helps anyone who is preparing.

scores and assessment:
-I had a 3.8 GPA in school but regardless i felt like i had to re-learn everything
-pre-naplex: 10 days before the exam was 83 and before I studied I git 53!

📚 Resources I Used

RxPrep was my main study resource. I also used PharmPrep Pro specifically for biostatistics and ethics.

I HIGHLY recommend PharmPrep Pro for biostatistics!! It covers what you need to know really well, and I felt very comfortable with the biostat questions on my exam.

For ethics, I personally didn’t go as hard. The questions I got were fairly straightforward, and I think you could have answered them without going through the entire guide. I’m attaching a summary of ethics that was enough for me.

How did I study?

For me, I had my phone completely away from me while studying. I would:

  1. Read the chapter carefully and highlight the important information.
  2. Write my own summaries by hand on paper.
  3. Keep my notes organized in separate binders so I could easily go back to specific topics.
  4. Take the quizzes after finishing the material.
  5. Move on instead of spending hours trying to make everything perfect.
I personally did not watch many videos because they were taking me too long. I found that I could learn much faster by reading → taking my own notes → doing the questions → moving on.
At the end of every week, I would go back and review what I had studied that week.
Once I finished going through all the material, I went back and reviewed almost everything again. That second pass was extremely helpful because I was able to recognize what I had forgotten and focus on those weak areas.

⏰ How Long I Studied

I studied for about 6–8 weeks, roughly 8–10 hours a day.

I completed around 1,000 of the 3,000+ RxPrep questions and did not take the RxPrep assessment.

my pre-NAPLEX 10 days before the exam was 83!

For math and biostatistics, I started focusing on them about 5 days before the exam and spent around 2 hours a day on them.

📝 The Exam

I felt like I had questions from everywhere you can think of . So don’t skip topics just because you think they’re less important!

Keep pushing—you’ve got this!!

A Few Things I’d Recommend

* Sleep well the night before.
* Bring snacks and water with you.
* Don’t stress yourself out the day before.
* Keep your review light the day before the exam. At that point, you’re better off staying calm and rested than trying to learn a bunch of new material.

Brand & Generic
Honestly, I didn’t spend a huge amount of time memorizing brand/generic names. Most of the names I encountered felt familiar.

I think I got stuck on maybe 1–2 questions because of brand names, but it wasn’t a major issue for me.

Good luck to everyone studying!! You can do this!! 💪🎉
