Thinking about sizing down from 8.38 to 8
I rode on an 8.38 for a while before taking a 3-year hiatus. Getting back into skating again and am considering picking up a second board in 8" width.
I mostly skated transition at the park on my 8.38, but always felt like I struggled with anything flat ground, potentially due to the size/weight of my board.
For reference, I wear a size ~8.5 men's shoe (varies from 8-9 between brands) and weigh between 130-140lbs.
Would the difference be noticeable? I'm thinking about keeping the 8.38 for transition skating and using the 8 for flatground/street skating. The 8.38 would have slightly larger/softer wheels (56-58mm w/ 1/8 riser, 98a or 99a) and the 8 would have slightly smaller/harder wheels (53-54mm , 99a or 100a)
