Hi everyone!

I released yesterday the demo for my game Golden Retriever Simple Life on Steam.

It’s a cozy pet simulation game starring my own dog, Pichu, and it’s made entirely in live action.

Spend your days together, enjoying simple moments with your dog. Teach tricks, explore new walking paths, and meet other dogs along the way. The game is designed to be relaxing, with no pressure and no rush, just enjoying the little moments side by side.

# Features

* Meet Pichu, a real-life golden retriever
* Probably the first FMV pet simulation starring a real dog
* Increase Affection, Happiness, Obedience, Agility, Sociability, and Trust to unlock new content
* Explore new locations and discover hidden paths
* Buy new toys, food, and recipes
* Teach tricks, from simple commands to more advanced exercises
* Meet other dogs and keep track of them on Nosebook
* Unlock 50 photos of Pichu for your in-game photo album

I know live action games are usually associated with horror, detective, or sometimes NSFW games, but I wanted to try something completely different: a wholesome and heartwarming cozy game built around Pichu, where every interaction with him shows his genuine and heartfelt reactions.

The game recently started getting a lot of attention from the Japanese [players](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhGsOu7f6JA) on X (Twitter), and it went [much](https://x.com/denfaminicogame/status/2086711997195067633) more [viral ](https://x.com/AUTOMATONJapan/status/2086728002738774181)than I ever imagined.

I hope you will find this unusual project interesting!

Feel free to check the Steam [demo page](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4824970/Golden_Retriever_Simple_Life_Demo/) if you're interested.

And if you have any questions about the game or the way it’s done, feel free to ask. I’d be happy to answer!
