Rising junior in cs trying to land internship

For context i went into my freshman year of college undecided and decided to pursue cs my sophomore year so im slightly behind in core classes compared to the average cs student. I have a good understanding in python and java from the classes i took my sophomore year. This summer I have been doing LeetCode and build out two projects I feel good about but nothing super impressive considering I still have alot of learning to do. With internship recruiting starting up I’m just looking for any advice to get any experience this year before my senior year because I know how important it is with this job market. I am willing to put in the work to break into this field but everything is so intimidating not knowing where to start. Will I be cooked without an internship? I’m also open to doing a masters degree to sacrifice some more time to gain experience.
